OverkillOS Early access

OVERKILLOS

Your coding agent forgets everything between sessions. This is how it stops.

OverkillOS is an operating method for AI-assisted software development: tiered memory the agent reads at every boot, a research-to-PRD pipeline, execution plans with pass/fail gates and evidence, all written as markdown files any agent can follow. It is not a framework or a library. The docs below are the method.

MEMORY IN TIERS

A ~300-token QUICKSTART read at every boot, MEMORY on demand, ARCHIVE for history. Each project has its own, and there is a global store across projects.

RESEARCH TO PRD

Research before building, one PRD per area (frontend, backend, database, go-to-market), and a map of every stage of the delivery cycle.

GATES AND EVIDENCE

Plans are made of gates with pass criteria. A gate passes with an evidence row, not a claim. Nothing that worked may regress.

ANY AGENT HOST

Written for Cursor first, with host playbooks for Antigravity and OpenClaw. The files are plain markdown, so other agents can follow them too.

WHERE IT STANDS · 23 SEPTEMBER 2026

The method (template v1.4.0) is used on Harmony AI Technologies' own projects. Its kit carries an MIT licence and is shared through early access; it is not yet publicly downloadable. A local control-plane app exists for our own use; it is not hosted and there are no accounts. Nothing is for sale yet. Early access means we send you the kit and hear how it works for you.
